Oil Fired Boilers
We can design, install and maintain oil fired boilers manufactured by Grant UK and EOGB both of which are long established companies with manufacturing in the UK
Grant UK boilers are known for their reliability, efficiency and long service life. These oil-fired boilers use a traditional non-modulating burner, meaning they operate at full output when running. This proven design offers dependable heating and hot water, making them a robust and cost-effective option for many homes.
The EOGB Sapphire offers a more advanced approach to oil heating. It features a fully modulating burner, allowing the boiler to automatically adjust its output to match the heating demand of the property. When paired with weather compensation, the boiler can further optimise efficiency by adjusting the flow temperature based on the outside temperature, helping to reduce fuel consumption and improve comfort.
Both of these boilers are compatible with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), a renewable liquid fuel made from sustainable waste materials such as used cooking oils and agricultural residues. HVO is a cleaner alternative to traditional kerosene heating oil and can reduce lifecycle carbon emissions by up to around 90%. It burns cleaner, producing lower particulate emissions while allowing existing oil heating systems to transition to a more environmentally friendly fuel with minimal changes.
By installing an HVO-ready boiler today, your heating system is prepared for a lower-carbon future while still providing the reliability and performance expected from modern oil heating systems.
Radiant Heating & Cooling
Everyone is familiar with underfloor heating, but did you know the same technology can do so much more? The same efficient system used in your floors can also be integrated seamlessly into your walls and ceilings.
These systems provide efficient heating during the winter and cooling during the summer months, offering a silent, draft-free alternative to traditional air conditioning.
We offer a complete design, supply, and installation service, perfectly paired with high-efficiency Heat Pumps for a sustainable, whisper-quiet home.
Cold Water Pressurisation
We install cold water pressurisation systems to ensure consistent and reliable water pressure throughout your property. These systems are ideal for larger homes or buildings where mains pressure alone may not be sufficient to supply multiple bathrooms, outlets, or high-demand appliances at the same time.
We use high-quality systems from Dutypoint and Powertank, which are designed to provide efficient, quiet, and dependable water pressure. These advanced booster sets store and deliver water at a controlled pressure, ensuring strong and consistent flow to showers, taps, and appliances across the property.
Cold water pressurisation systems provide a more comfortable user experience while protecting the plumbing system from pressure fluctuations, making them an ideal solution for modern homes and buildings with higher water demands.
Power Flushing/Filling to VDI 2035
We provide professional heating system power flushing and filling in accordance with VDI 2035, the German industry standard for protecting modern heating systems from corrosion, limescale, and sludge build-up.
The system is thoroughly flushed to remove installation debris, flux residues, and contaminants that can reduce efficiency or damage components such as pumps, valves, and heat exchangers. Using specialist equipment and technology from Spirotech and IWTM, the system is then refilled with properly treated water that meets VDI 2035 requirements for hardness and water quality.
This approach provides chemical-free system corrosion protection, relying on correctly prepared system water rather than traditional chemical inhibitors. As the industry moves towards reducing the unnecessary use of chemicals in heating systems, standards such as VDI 2035 are widely expected to influence future UK best practice and regulations.
Smart Leak Detection
We use thermography and tracer gas detection to locate hidden or hard-to-find leaks in both water and refrigerant pipework, including heat pump and air conditioning systems.
Thermography detects temperature variations caused by escaping water or refrigerant, revealing leaks that are not visible to the naked eye. For more challenging cases, the system can be drained and filled with a safe tracer gas—a mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen—allowing a sensitive detector to precisely pinpoint the leak, even in concealed or hard-to-access pipework.
This method minimises disruption, avoids unnecessary demolition, and ensures fast, accurate, and reliable leak detection, protecting your property and system performance
Remote System Performance and Corrosion Monitoring
We offer remote system monitoring to keep your heating system operating efficiently and reliably. Using advanced sensors and monitoring technology, key parameters such as system temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and water quality can be continuously tracked.
This allows us to monitor system performance and corrosion risk, helping to identify issues such as poor water quality, air in the system, or developing corrosion before they cause damage to components like pumps, heat exchangers, or pipework.
Remote monitoring enables early fault detection, improved efficiency, and preventative maintenance, helping to extend the lifespan of your heating system while giving you greater peace of mind that everything is operating as it should.
System Design
We offer a complete system design service tailored to meet the specific needs of each project, supported by detailed CAD drawings for clarity and accuracy. Our designs cover heating and cooling systems, ventilation and air conditioning, ensuring all elements work seamlessly together for optimal performance and efficiency. We can also provide full public health system (hot/cold water services and foul drainage) design
By delivering well-coordinated, professional designs, we help minimise installation issues, improve system performance, and ensure a smooth process from concept through to completion.
